How to work with News
The "News" dialog window can be opened from the "View" drop menu.
News Feed feature in the trading platform is disabled by default. To enable the news you need to go to
main menu "Settings" -> drop menu "Terminal" -> tab "News".
In the "News" tab you are able to turn the News Feed on, activate an automatic news subscribtion renewal as well as set the news storage parameters: (storage time and the maximum number of news that will be stored on the terminal).
To call the "News" window called "View"is constantly updated with new incoming data. The «News» window may consist of two parts. The upper one contains news headlines, each line contains 1 news and indicates time, title, provider, language. The bottom part of the window contains full text of the news. The window containing the full text of each news can also be opened by double-clicking on the news headline.
By right clicking on the news line in the box «News» a dialog window containing the following options appears:
- 'News story' – opens a separate window containing full text of news;
- 'Show story view' – show/hide the window containing full text of news;
- 'Remove all news';
- 'Select news providers';
- 'Select news languages';
- 'Print';
- 'Print preview';
- 'Columns' – allows to arrange, show or hide columns;
- 'News settings'.
- News are free of charge if your trading account balance is over $50
- Otherwise it's $3 per month. Monthly fee (if payable) is deducted off your trading account balance once news service is enabled. When automaticly subscribed, your trading account is debited by $3 every 30 days. All news fee debits are displayed in the 'Account History report' ('Commission' transaction type).
