Dollar declines after US report on jobless claims
The number of initial jobless claims for the week ending 6 June reduced by 24 000 to 601 000, pointing out that workplace cut-off continues slow down. Nevertheless the number of second jobless claims reached the record high that happens 19 weeks in a row. Euro/dollar hit the day's high at 1.4095, pound/dollar reached the level at 1.6540. Reducing number of initial jobless claims shows a recovery in labour market. On the back of this fact U.S. stock index future turned into positive zone, reflecting interest for riskier assets.
