How to set alert
Go to "View" of the main menu and select "Alerts". Right-click in an "Alerts" window popped-up and select "Add alert".
There are other ways of adding an alert:
- Alert for price - right-click in a Market Watch or Chart window and select "Add alert for Price"
- Alert to open position - right-click in an Open Positions window and select "Add alert to open position"
- Alerd to order - right-click in an Orders window and select "Add alert to order"
Created alerts can be edited, deleted, resumed and suspended by right-clicking on an alert line in the Alerts window and selecting the appropriate command.
There are 2 or 3 steps to add an alert:
1. Select alert event from the list:
- Reconnection with server
- Loss of connection with server
- Short margin
- Target Margin Level reached
- Balance operation performed
- Order activation
- Activation of Trailing Stop
- Order execution
- Target Price Level reached
- Price Change
- Target position Profit/Loss reached
- Alarm clock
2. Set specific conditions and parameters for the selected event.
3. Set general properties of the alert :
- Show message window;
- Select a sound file;
- Repeat notification – Repeat number and Repeat interval (sec);
- Finish after the first actuation;
- Expiration after the specified number of seconds.
