Working with charts
The user can work with chart via buttons of the instrument panel on main window of the terminal or using the appropriate commands of context menu that can be opened with the right click on the chart’s window.
From the context menu the following commands are available:
- Set indicator – opens window to set indicators of technical analysis;
- Indicator’s list – opens dialog with the name of financial instrument and with the hierarchy set of indicators;
- Set graphical object - Installation of the object;
- Graphical objects list - to call a dialogue box with a list of installed objects;
- Type – chart type (Bar, Candle, Line, Tick);
- Interval – period selecting (M1, M5, M15, M30, H1, D1, W1);
- Refresh - remove all the data of the chart (instrument+time interval) from the database which is stored on the computer and reload the essential data from the server;
- Show positions - price levels of open positions are shown by horizontal lines;
- Show orders - price levels of active orders displayed horizontal lines;
- Show events - display the levels based on the set alerts criteria;
- Crosshair - set of the object "Crosshair" (canceled by simply click cursor);
- Indent – indent right edge graphic from vertical price axis;
- Scroll to market - shift graphic schedule right until the last quotation;
- Auto scroll to market - when new prices from the server (more precisely, the price for the start of a new period) automatically shifted the graphic, that is, point of the last price does not move;
- Chart auto price scale – automatic scaling by price axis – if this is selected, then the chart will take the optimal position by price axis (all the prices, within the window, are visible and occupies all the field of the window, with the certain standoff from bottom and top edges, and vertical movement of chart is blocked);
- Delete indicator area - delete Indicator’s area (and indicators in it);
- Grid – set the grid (vertical and horizontal);
- Make deal – opens window to set a market order (open position);
- Set order - open a dialog to set order;
- Quick deal window - open the window of dialogue for quick deal;
- Print;
- Print Preview;
- Settings - call dialogue of setting terminal parameters.
Several operations can be performed over charts:

Scaling – increasing or decreasing of chart’s scale both by time axis and by price axis. To do this, the user should move the cursor (to the right or to the left) over the area of time axis or price axis, holding the right mouse button. Cropping can be set from context menu with “Chart auto price scale” command;
- Shift – chart movement. For shift the user needs to move the mouse to the needed direction across the period needed for data preparation. The chart window will be blocked, and the warning notification will be shown. When the data is ready, the chart window will be unblocked automatically.
Objects
At the top of the main window Terminal (in one unit) of buttons : “Crosshair”, “Trendline”, “Trendline (ray)”, “Horizontal level”, “Channel”, “Channel (ray)”, “Fibonacci retracement”, “Fibonacci extension”. These objects can be called the command "Set graphical object" (from the context menu on the graph). The command "Graphical objects list” user can set, edit, delete, highlight objects. To move the object to it have put the mouse cursor (the object is displayed in color and icons) and move it, hold down the left mouse button. |
