Deutsche Telekom AG Technical Analysis

The technical analysis of the Deutsche Telekom stock price chart on 4-hour timeframe shows #D-DTE, H4 is testing the 200-period moving average MA(200) which is rising itself. We believe the bullish momentum will resume after the price breaches above the upper bound of the Donchian Channel at 21.65. This level can be used as an entry point for placing a pending order to buy. The stop loss can be placed below 21.17. After placing the order, the stop loss is to be moved every day to the next fractal low indicator. Thus, we are changing the expected profit/loss ratio to the breakeven point. If the price meets the stop loss level (21.17) without reaching the order (21.65), we recommend cancelling the order: the market has undergone internal changes which were not taken into account.

Fundamental Analysis of Stocks - Deutsche Telekom AG

Deutsche Telekom stock advanced while the company reported better than expected results. Will the Deutsche Telekom stock price reverse its retreating?

Deutsche Telekom revised slightly upward its full-year operating profit target on Thursday. The company now expects adjusted operating profit to now reach €40.9 billion in 2023, from previous guidance of 40.8 billion euros. First quarter revenue grew 0.3% to €27.8 billion due to increase in customers. Net profit nearly quadrupled to €15.4 billion which was mainly due to the sale of 51% its tower business in Germany and Austria to a consortium of Canada's Brookfield and US private equity firm DigitalBridge after they made a surprise last-minute bid that valued the unit at €17.5 billion euros. Expectations of higher revenue are bullish for stock price. The company stock closed 1.36% higher on Thursday.
