Global equity indexes are pointing down currently after Wall Street ended down third session in a row on Friday. Microsoft shares added 0.37% outperforming market, Nvidia shares slipped 0.23% on Friday while Morgan Stanley maintained an Overweight (i.e. Buy) rating on NVDA shares although lowered the price target from $630 to $600.

The Dollar weakening has reversed currently. The live dollar index data show the ICE US Dollar index, a measure of the dollar’s strength against a basket of six rival currencies, ended 0.1 % lower on Friday.

Both EUR/USD and GBP/USD continued their advancing on Friday as federal statistics office Destatis reported German producer prices posted their biggest year-on-year decline on record for September. Euro is lower against the Dollar currently and Pound is higher. USD/JPY reversed its sliding on Friday and AUD/USD accelerated its retreating with bot the yen and the Australian dollar lower against the Greenback currently.

US stocks indexes futures are mixed currently after closing solidly lower on Friday. The three main US stock benchmarks recorded daily returns in the range from -1.5% to -0.9% on Friday as US Department of the Treasury reported bigger than expected federal budget deficit for September.

European stock indexes futures are down currently after closing at their lowest level since the start of the year on Friday led by mining stocks. Asian stock indexes futures are mostly down today with Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index leading losses.

Brent is extending losses currently. Oil prices declined on Friday after the Islamist group Hamas released two US hostages from Gaza while US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) said money managers cut their net long US crude futures and options positions by 56,850 contracts to 183,351 in the week to October 17. The US oil benchmark West Texas Intermediate (WTI) slid 0.3% and is lower currently. Brent slipped 0.2% to $92.16 a barrel on Friday.
