USDIDX: United States Consumer Price Index (CPI) report on September 13 is the major event for forex markets in September 11 -15 week. Investors will be watching closely to see whether the consumer inflation continued to accelerate or not. In case the inflation rises from the previous reading of 3.2% over year this may give some reason for the Federal Reserve to lean toward another rate hike - otherwise USDIDX will get a bearish impulse.

EURUSD: European Central Bank interest rate decision is a major economic event for forex market. European Central Bank will hold its conference on September 14. Christine Lagarde, the president of the European Central Bank, said it will be “critical” for central banks to pin their inflation targets at a period where fluctuations in the likes of energy prices and geopolitical activity are factored in. Another 25 basis points increase in the benchmark rate will be bullish for the EURUSD.
