The USDCHF technical analysis of the price chart on 4-hour timeframe shows USDCHF,H4 has breached below the 200-period moving average MA(200) after hitting three-week high yesterday. We believe the bearish movement will continue after the price breaches below the lower bound of the Donchian channel at 0.9023. A level below this can be used as an entry point for placing a pending order to sell. The stop loss can be placed above 0.9077. After placing the order, the stop loss is to be moved to the next fractal high indicator, following Parabolic signals. Thus, we are changing the expected profit/loss ratio to the breakeven point. If the price meets the stop loss level without reaching the order, we recommend cancelling the order: the market has undergone internal changes which were not taken into account.

Switzerland’s factory activity contraction continued in October. Will the USDCHF price rebound persist?
Switzerland’s factory activity contraction deepened in October: the Procure.ch and Credit Suisse Manufacturing PMI dropped to 40.6 in October 2023 from 44.9 in September, when a rise to 45.0 was forecast. Readings above 50.0 indicate industry expansion, below indicate contraction. The index remained contractionary for the tenth month. Subindexes for production, new orders and purchasing volumes all recorded accelerated declines. Employment levels entered contractionary territory. This is bullish for USDCHF. However the current setup is bearish for the pair.
