Over the past 7 days, the US Dollar Index continued its rise. The main positive factor was investors' belief that the Federal Reserve will raise interest rates at the next meeting on June 14. According to CME FedWatch Tool, the probability of a rate hike to 5.5% from the current level of 5.25% increased to 58.4%. It was only 25.7% a week ago. The New Zealand Dollar weakened as investors believed that the Reserve Bank of New Zealand's rate hike to 5.5% from 5.25% may be insufficient.
