Over the past 7 days, the US dollar index has increased. The main reason for this was the expectations of investors to raise the U.S. rate. The Federal Reserve at its May 4 meeting was still up 0.5% to 1%. According to CME FedWatch, there is a 68% chance of such an event happening. The leaders of growth are the currencies of the countries exporting commodities: the Australian, New Zealand and Canadian dollars, as well as the Norwegian krone.
