What's New with IFC Markets


Due to low liquidity in the FOREX market by the change of the trading session from today to tomorrow a 15-minute break in trades of currency pairs (Forex group) and the USDIDX dollar index will take place. Starting from September 24, 2018, trades on the above mentioned instruments will be closed from 23:00 to 23:15 (CET) every trading day.

Due to corporate events of consolidation of stocks in Hitachi Ltd., in Toshiba and in Futjicu Ltd, CFD trading on #T-6501, #T-6502 and #T-6702 stocks will be suspended from 26.09.2018. All open positions on these CFDs will be automatically closed at the market closing price on 25.09.2018. Trading will be resumed later.

Due to the holidays in China and Japan on September 24-25, 2018, the trading schedule has been changed for the following instruments (CET):

Starting from September 3, 2018, the dividend display structure on the pages of the website will be changed - dividend adjustments equal to the dividends accrued by issuers will be indicated on the “Stock Dividend Dates” page and on separate pages for each stock. But on the day of calculating the dividend adjustment on your open positions on stock CFDs, a tax fee will be retained from the positive adjustment. This tax is retained by stock exchanges on the stock market.

Due to the high volatility and low liquidity of the Turkish lira, the margin requirements for USDTRY and EURTRY instruments will be changed from August 20, 2018 - the margin is increased to 5% (1:20 leverage). The restriction on the opening of new positions on these instruments will be canceled.
