Amazon Technical Analysis

The technical analysis of the AMAZON stock price chart on 4-hour timeframe shows #S-AMZN,H4 is retracing down to test the 200-period moving average MA(200) after hitting two-and-half-month high a week ago. We believe the bearish momentum will continue after the price breaches below the lower boundary of Donchian channel at 184.56. This level can be used as an entry point for placing a pending order to sell. The stop loss can be placed above 191.93. After placing the order, the stop loss is to be moved every day to the next fractal high , following Parabolic indicator signals. Thus, we are changing the expected profit/loss ratio to the breakeven point. If the price meets the stop loss level (191.3) without reaching the order (184.56), we recommend cancelling the order: the market has undergone internal changes which were not taken into account.

Fundamental Analysis of Stocks - Amazon

U.S. District Judge partially granted Amazon request to dismiss a US Federal Trade Commission lawsuit accusing it of maintaining illegal monopolies. Will the AMAZON stock price advancing resume?

The FTC has accused Amazon of using an algorithm that pushed up prices U.S. households paid by more than $1 billion. Amazon asked U.S. District court to dismiss the case in December, saying the FTC had raised no evidence of harm to consumers. Amazon has said in court papers it stopped using the program in 2019. US judge partially granted Amazon's motion. The FTC will be allowed to continue to pursue any claims the judge did not permanently dismiss. The judge also ruled the case will be tried in two parts, rejecting Amazon's bid to have the FTC present evidence of the alleged violations and its proposed remedies in the same trial. Partial dismissal of FTC antitrust lawsuit against Amazon is bullish for Amazon stock price. However, the current setup is bearish for the company stock price.
