Boeing Technical Analysis

The technical analysis of the Boeing stock price chart on 4-hour timeframe shows #S-BA,H4 is retracing down under the 200-period moving average MA(200) after testing the MA(200) four weeks ago. We believe the bearish momentum will continue after the price breaches below the lower boundary of Donchian channel at 153.89. This level can be used as an entry point for placing a pending order to sell. The stop loss can be placed above 163.34. After placing the order, the stop loss is to be moved every day to the next fractal high indicator following Parabolic signals. Thus, we are changing the expected profit/loss ratio to the breakeven point. If the price meets the stop loss level (163.34) without reaching the order (153.89), we recommend cancelling the order: the market has undergone internal changes which were not taken into account.

Fundamental Analysis of Stocks - Boeing

Boeing said yesterday it was freezing hiring and weighing temporary furloughs to keep costs in check as strike enters fourth day. Will the Boeing stock price retreating persist?

Boeing workers went on strike after rejecting their first full contract in 16 years last week. Northcoast Research estimates the total impact of the strike could reach $3 billion or more. Last week all three major ratings agencies warned that a prolonged strike could cost the plane maker its investment-grade rating. That would increase borrowing costs for Boeing, which already has a $60-billion debt on its balance sheet. Boeing's finances are already under pressure due to negative free cash flow and poor margins. TD Cowen analysts estimate Boeing could lose over $100 million in daily revenue until it reaches a settlement with its union that represents more than 30,000 workers. Loss of revenue from a strike when Boeing needs more orders to return to positive free cash flow is bearish for Boeing stock price.
