Rough Rice Chart Analysis
Rough Rice Technical Analysis
On the daily timeframe, RICE: D1 has exited down from the uptrend and triangle. A number of technical analysis indicators formed signals for further decline. We do not rule out a bearish movement if RICE: D1 falls below the last 2 down fractals and the lower Bollinger band: 16.95. This level can be used as an entry point. Initial risk cap is possible above the latest up fractal, 5-month high, upper Bollinger band and Parabolic signal: 18.05. After opening a pending order, we move the stop following the Bollinger and Parabolic signals to the next fractal maximum. Thus, we change the potential profit/loss ratio in our favor. The most cautious traders, after making a trade, can switch to a four-hour chart and set a stop loss, moving it in the direction of movement. If the price overcomes the stop level (18.05) without activating the order (16.95), it is recommended to delete the order: there are internal changes in the market that were not taken into account.
Fundamental Analysis of Commodities - Rough Rice
Thailand is going to increase its rice exports. Will the RICE quotes decline?
According to the Thai Rice Exporters Association, rice exports from Thailand this year may increase to 7.5-8 million tons compared to 6.11 million tons last year. Flooding due to Typhoon Noru did not have a serious negative impact on the crop. Thailand is the 3rd largest exporter of rice in the world after India and Vietnam. In September, India banned the export of crushed rice and increased duties on white and brown rice. However, this did not cause a noticeable increase in quotations on the world market. The United States Department of Agriculture forecasts an increase in rice exports from Thailand, as well as from Vietnam, Burma and Pakistan. At the same time, some consumers, such as China, Egypt, Madagascar and other countries, may reduce rice imports due to a good harvest.
